Welcome one and all to the first ever Expert Logistics news update!
We’ll be keeping you up to speed with all our internal and external going’s on throughout the year – whether it’s industry news, personal milestones, charity work, or seasonal chit chat, we’ll be shouting about what we do because we are super proud to be doing it.
For instance, we care about the well being of our staff. Deeply. So much so that this month saw the opening of our brand new in house Spa!
Why a Spa? I hear you say. Well, its simple. We believe that a happy work force is a productive one. We understand that the demands of every day logistics business can take its toll on our employees, and that they can become anxious and stressed. But we don’t want that. We want our staff to be happy and content in our fast paced environment, so that they are always in the best frame of mind to get the job done.
That’s why we have created a small oasis within our office so that our employees can take a short break to relax, unwind and recharge those batteries – whether that’s with a massage, a makeover, or a cut and blow dry ready for the weekend.
Plus, it’s always nice to have nice things, isn’t it?
But it’s not just the well being of our staff that we care about. It’s the well being of the community around us, and also the happiness of our customers which is at the forefront of what we do.
We continually raise money each month to donate to worthy causes, both locally and nationally. Whilst on our customer facing side of things our dedication to deliver the very best in service and care is surely unparalleled – just take a look at the rest of our site!
But we don’t have to talk about everything on the first date. There will plenty of time for us to get to know each other better, and there will be plenty more bulletins through out the year on how we are doing and what we are up to.
