Expert Logistics are the UK’s leading logistics delivery provider of white goods with 9 depots nationwide. We are looking for self employed 3.5t drivers to work with us and be a part of our New Driver Academy. This unique opportunity will see you progress from a 3.5t driver to a 7.5t Driver within 8 weeks, and includes the Driver CPC Qualification. Earn, Learn and Progress. Crewe is our central hub and we are looking for bright, passionate, customer focused delivery drivers to work with us on our delivery fleet.
Role Summary
Our self employed drivers work in crews of 2 and deliver mainly white goods. As the business expands this year our remit will include the delivery of TV’s. We deliver to 98% of UK postcodes 7 days a week. Expert Logistics prides themselves on excellent customer service and only the best service will do. We expect our drivers to be professional, polite and willing to go that extra mile.
Main Responsibilities and Objectives
- You must possess a full driver licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
- You must have no drink driving convictions within the last 10 years
- Be a min of 21 years old
- Be physically active due to the nature of the role; dealing with heavy goods
- Be self-motivated with a high work ethic
- Have excellent communication skills at all levels towards customers
- Desire to go the extra mile for customers in order to deliver excellent and quality services
- The desire and passion to be a 7.5t delivery driver in the future
- Have a good geographic knowledge
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and be of a smart appearance
- Live within a reasonable travelling distance to the depot; we recommend 40 minutes
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A good standard of English
